Dirac Live room correction

State-of-the-art digital room correction technology improves overall audio performance across the entire frequency band without the need for an additional upgrade. Dirac Live automatically calibrates the sound in your room using either your smartphone and the included wired microphone, or virtually wirelessly using the Dirac Live PC or macOS* application and a third-party USB microphone (not included). Dirac Live unleashes the full potential of your speakers in any listening room, delivering a unique, pristine listening experience. Now you get a more accurate measurement of your surround sound system positions to be more precise, balanced and give a better result, with the delay time cap increased from 20 milliseconds to 50 milliseconds.

HDMI® 2.1 with 8K

HDMI® 2.1 is the latest update to the HDMI® specification, supporting a range of higher video resolutions and frame rates, including 8K60 and 4K120, as well as dynamic HDR formats. 8K offers a particularly immersive viewing experience with twice the horizontal and vertical resolution of 4K and four times the number of pixels. Combined with a refresh rate of 60 Hz, this allows for smooth and sharp display of content at high speed. HDMI 2.1 with 8K ensures your system is ready for the clearest, cleanest picture available now and in the future.

Now the Bluetooth connectivity between your streaming device and the Pioneer AV receiver is even better, making it easy to connect to your device and control it wirelessly. Stream from your device to the receiver using SBC or AAC codecs, or stream audio played through the AVR to compatible wireless headphones using SBC, aptX™️ or aptX HD codecs, including 24-bit audio over aptX HD . The improved data transmission capabilities of the latest Bluetooth generation ensure clear and reliable sound reproduction, so you can hear your favorite songs exactly as the recording device recorded them.

MCACC Auto Room Tuning with Auto Phase Control Plus

MCACC adapts the sound to the listening room and speakers, providing clearer sound by suppressing the standing waves that occur between the walls or ceiling and floor. The measurement of up to nine positions can be stored for a large listening area. Auto Phase Control Plus* analyzes the phase difference in real time and automatically compensates for the gap between the LFE and main signals, resulting in powerful bass and clear high-frequency sound.
