UNPRECEDENTED SOUND WITH THE YAMAHA TSR-700

If you don't have ceiling speakers or upward-firing speakers, there's Dolby Atmos® with height virtualization. This system simulates the Atmos audio experience with front-facing speakers. You can configure up to five speakers to have the same effect as two ceiling speakers, or use all seven channels for an effective simulation of four overhead speakers.

Feel Dolby Atmos® in every dimension. Combine a 5.1 surround system with two additional overhead speakers or two Dolby Atmos® height speakers to create dramatic overhead effects with a truly room-filling soundstage - all with the Dolby Surround upmixer for legacy content.

DTS:X immersive audio formatting maps sound where it would naturally occur in space, creating a lifelike, multidimensional audio experience. With the built-in DTS Neural:X™ spatial remapping engine, immerse yourself in your favorite movies and enjoy even more realistic viewing pleasure.

Yamaha's unique 'Sound Field Creation' technology was developed by combining measured sound field data and digital signal processing. Yamaha has collected the sound field data from famous concert halls and music clubs around the world. The extensive expertise in the design of concert halls, in sound reinforcement technology and in audio mixing came into its own. By digitizing vast amounts of information and integrating it into dedicated LSI devices, the acoustics of concert halls and music clubs in your home can be accurately recreated. Immerse yourself in an extremely realistic film world and the authentic sound of famous venues.

A new circuit that more than doubles the slew rate creates precise signal transmission and is particularly suitable for high-resolution audio signals. Amplifiers with a high slew rate often cause unstable signal transmission, but Yamaha's newly developed circuit achieves a high slew rate with stable signal transmission.

MADE FOR YOUR FOUR WALLS

HDR10+ not only stands for a dynamic spectrum (light-dark ratio) in video content from scene to scene (or even from frame to frame). With a small amount of metadata, it also represents the scene characteristics between light and dark, so that important details are preserved. This allows the images – and therefore the filmmaker's intention – to be more realistically represented on the screen.

Supports end-to-end 8K/4K resolutions as well as higher refresh rate solutions with a single redesigned cable for seamless integration into the HDMI ecosystem. 8K creates a super-immersive moving image with twice the horizontal and vertical resolution of 4K and four times the number of pixels. In combination with the update rate of 60 Hz, the result is a smooth, sharp moving image, even with fast image changes. Thanks to 4K/120 Hz, ultra-fast moving images in UHD can be reproduced with high contrast and pin sharp, so that sports, action films, high-performance gaming systems and VR are much more pleasant to watch.

* This feature is available via firmware update on the TSR-700.

The expanded gaming and media functions ensure even more seamless motion sequences and transitions in games, films and videos. The Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) enables the automatic setting of the ideal latency for a smooth, lag-free and uninterrupted moving image with interactivity. Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) reduces or eliminates lag, stuttering and screen tearing for a smoother, more detailed gaming experience. Quick Media Switching (QMS) for movies and videos eliminates delays that can cause black screens before content is played. Quick Frame Transport (QFT) reduces game latency for smoother, lag-free gaming with real-time interactive VR.

* This feature is available via firmware update.

DESIGNED FOR YOUR SPACE

YPAO (Yamaha Parametric Room Acoustic Optimizer) analyzes the acoustics of the room and your system, then precisely adjusts the various audio parameters for optimal sound. All you have to do is set up the measurement microphone supplied at the listening position. If YPAO is then activated, the system automatically tunes itself for optimal performance.

Combine this AV receiver with the MusicCast 50 or MusicCast 20 wireless streaming speakers for the convenience of setting up a home theater with wireless surround sound. Experience immersive, realistic sound with intuitive, hassle-free setup. This turns your living room into an entertainment space where you can enjoy movies and music to the fullest.

The distinctively elegant Yamaha chassis represents the core aspects of home entertainment operation. The exclusive, subtly aggressive design focuses on performance and seamless accessibility. A harmonious combination that radiates elegance, functionality and technical superiority.
