Perfectly symmetrical
In conjunction with the GT-5000 turntable and the M-5000 power amplifier, a completely symmetrical signal chain is created from start to finish for the best sound.
Balanced preamp
With Tone Defeat, the C-5000 offers a completely symmetrical and discrete circuit design.
The patented electronic design of the C-5000 enables optimal signal routing over all audio inputs, which is free from ground interference.
Symmetrical folding book circuit
The “Folding Book” design of the preamp board mirrors the left and right signal paths for perfect unison. Because the channels are identical, the C-5000 creates a stereo sound field with vivid depth and realistic breadth. Signal routing is also optimal when other components are connected.
Double power plant
Independent toroidal transformers for the left and right channels provide optimum signal separation for an outstanding soundstage. The low magnetic field emissions reduce negative effects on the audio signal. After extensive listening tests, the mains transformer was packed in a copper-coated case to prevent magnetic radiation and vibrations. This also minimizes the impact on the phono circuitry. This creates a rhythmic, dynamic and detailed sound that entices the listener into endless listening sessions.
Electronic design with low impedance
The copper-plated chassis minimizes the disruptive effects of voltage on the electronic circuit. As a result, the C-5000 is able to reproduce even the finest sound differences as well as voluminous bass. Thick, screwed cables also reduce the impedance of the power supply and thus further improve the transmission of the audio signal.
High end you can touch
The C-5000 has been completely redesigned to deliver the ultimate hi-fi experience. Aesthetics and haptics - The controllers and switches convey the inner qualities as soon as you touch them. The precision volume control features ball bearings and is cut from aluminum, while the lever switches give the C-5000 a classic feel. This also makes operation an experience.
Stand on your own two feet
When developing the C-5000, every technical aspect that affects the sound was considered. The obsession to achieve the best possible sound has led to the development of the new, patented stands. The heavy brass feet decouple the C-5000 either as pure spikes or with scratch protection for sensitive surfaces.
