Pulse-Eight ProAudio32 DSP Pre-Amp

The ProAudio32 DSP Pre-Amp Audio Matrix has 80 audio inputs and 32 analog and 32 digital outputs and allows for simultaneous audio distribution to multiple zones. Each output zone can be expanded with built-in features including 5-band equalizer for each zone, adjustable volume and gain settings, subwoofer control, serial and TCP/IP control, lip-sync delay and much more.

ProAudio was developed for the AV market for custom installations. In many cases, using the audio capabilities of the ProAudio™ Series eliminates the need for an audio receiver.

5-band equalizer

The ProAudio™ series offers maximum sound control with bass, treble and a 5-band graphic equalizer for each zone. The audio and tone controls are fully adjustable.

Adjustable gain control per zone

To compensate for the different levels of audio coming from different devices, each audio input features full-range gain control.

Subwoofer Control

With low pass and high pass filter settings adjustable from 50Hz to 300Hz. ProAudio offers easily customizable subwoofer controls.

Doorbell/paging functions

The doorbell connectors on the rear of the system provide the ability to connect doorbell/pager inputs to any exit zone and automatically lower the current volume and pass through the doorbell/pager signal. This can also be customized for fire/evacuation notifications.

Volume controls and tone controls

For muted audio or the least amount of distortion, mirroring the analog outputs on the digital outputs allows you to input and output digital audio, bypassing the analog sections entirely. No additional conversions are required and you still have volume, balance, bass, treble and 5-band equalizer controls.

Downmix from stereo to mono for each zone

For hallways and outdoor speakers where stereo isn't particularly useful, each zone can be downmixed from stereo to mono using a variety of methods.

Automatic audio conversion

Regardless of whether your audio signals come in via the analog inputs, the digital coax inputs or the digital optical inputs, all inputs can be converted to analog signals for full flexibility.

Lip Sync Delay

When moving audio, lip sync can often be a problem. In every ProAudio system we offer up to 170ms lip sync delay to keep your audio/video in sync.

zone linking

Link any number of output zones to create a group of outputs that all automatically switch to the same input source at the same time.
