Pulse Eight neo:XSR Receiver Kit
The neo:XSR Video & Audio Matrix - with multiple video inputs and both video and audio outputs - has 6 HDMI inputs, 4 HDBaseT outputs and 2 HDMI outputs as well as 6 audio output zones with the options Optical and Digital Coax. The neo:XSR supports full 4K/60, 4:4:4, 8bit or 4K/60 4:2:2, 12bit up to 40 meters (130 ft) and 1080p up to 70 meters (230 ft).
Pulse-Eight have been designing and manufacturing their own products in the UK since 2010 and have developed industry leading HDBaseT and HDMI products including matrices, splitters and extender sets, as well as video and audio accessories, adding essential connectivity and manipulation capabilities to the installer's toolbox.
The kit contains:
(1) Pulse-Eight neo:XSR video matrix
(4) Pulse-Eight neo:UltraSR receiver
HDR & HLG support
The Pulse-Eight neo:X+ supports full 4K/60Hz 18Gbps with HDR and HLG. This ensures dynamic resolutions even on the latest displays from the latest vendors without sacrificing the quality of the input.
DSC visually lossless compression
DSC (Display Stream Compression) is a low-latency, visually lossless 4K video stream that reproduces the full color gamut on the display and uses the latest technology to transmit true 4K UHD.
Unlike other compressions, DSC preserves the 10-bit or 12-bit HDR signals instead of reducing them to 8-bit and then reproducing them. This results in the most accurate image quality available today.
HDMI 2.0 extension
Expanding on the latest technology is paramount and that includes the latest HDMI 2.0. With speeds up to 18,0Gbps, it's capable of handling 4K video at 60Hz with 4:4:4, 4:2:2 and 4:2:0 chroma subsampling with relative ease.
With added High Dynamic Range (HDR) support, displays are rendered with higher luminance and more accurate color saturation.
18Gbps crosspoint core
At the heart of a neo:X matrix is an 18Gbps crosspoint that allows the matrix to handle true 4K UHD signals without data loss.
Audio Matrixing
The integrated audio matrix on the Pulse-Eight neo:X+ allows audio to be routed independently of video, either via the audio inputs or the HDMI inputs via audio extraction, or even from a connected display via Audio Return Channel (ARC).
audio extraction
Route the audio signals from any HDMI input via the Pulse-Eight neo:X+'s audio extraction outputs - with the option of stereo L/R, optical or digital coax output connections.
HDMI audio return channel
Stream audio signals generated locally (e.g. from a smart TV app) back to the system to connect to an external audio device, e.g. B. a soundbar, a receiver or a multizone product without the need for additional cables or problems.
Dolby downmix
The ability to downmix multi-channel audio from any of the HDMI or digital audio inputs to stereo audio outputs provides ultimate flexibility, allowing 4K sources to be streamed anywhere.
Intelligent IR*
This range of matrixes has been developed in collaboration with Binary to achieve incredible results including the ability not only to pass IR signals through, but to store, control and distribute the signals when required at the push of a button.
*Compatible with Control4 and Episode IR receivers and flashers only.
Superior CEC control
CEC control, but not as you know it. By interoperating with any control system, the Matrix is able to create dynamic CEC control protocols while allowing third-party integration.
Integration of control systems
Pulse-Eight features the industry's largest CEC command library, allowing for seamless integration with the most popular sources and displays. Control4 integration is simplified with built-in SDDP and custom features for better usability. And with IR over IP and Micro-Phoenix connectors allowing RS232 control feed extension for each HDBaseT output, Pulse-Eight provides solid control system integration in any installation.
Ethernet pass-through
Easily distribute Ethernet with HDBaseT passthrough without running multiple cables to each site. The neo:X+ enables 10/100 Ethernet alongside video, audio and control over a single Cat cable.
