The C700 is the ideal all-in-one solution for the streaming age. Just connect two speakers, select the music you want with the BluOS™ app on your smartphone, tablet, PC or Mac and start playing. NAD's tried-and-tested HybridDigital™ UcD amplifier technology provides a continuous output power of 2 x 80 watts and an impulse power of 100 watts (each at 8 Ω) and thus offers sufficient reserves for driving even power-hungry loudspeakers. The highly efficient UcD amplifier design features extremely low noise and minimal distortion across the entire frequency band, regardless of speaker load.

Thanks to its elegant, minimalist design and high-quality housing materials, the C700 appeals to all the senses - not only hearing, but also seeing and touching. The amplifier has a solid aluminum housing with a high-resolution, 12,7 centimeter color display integrated into the glass front. All amplifier settings can be easily adjusted via the menus shown in the display using the rotary control and the navigation buttons.

And the amplifier is also easy to operate from your seat: In addition to controlling all streaming functions via the intuitive BluOS™ app, the C 700 can also learn the commands of any infrared remote control.

State-of-the-art technologies for comfortable music enjoyment

With its Ethernet LAN connection, integration into the home WLAN network and the multiple award-winning BluOS™ platform, which has been highly praised by the trade press, the NAD C700 is an extremely powerful and versatile network streamer. The BluOS™ app, available free of charge for Android, Apple iOS, Kindle Fire, Windows and macOS, can be used to select numerous Internet radio stations and dozens of streaming services or to play music stored on an external drive connected to the USB port of the C700. In addition, the NAD amplifier supports Spotify Connect and TIDAL Connect, so that direct playback via the apps of these services is also possible. AirPlay 2 connects to Apple devices and iTunes libraries, with music selection even possible using Apple Siri voice control.

The high-resolution D/A converter of the C 700 processes streams up to a data format of 24 bit/192 kHz. This means that it is also possible to play lossless, high-resolution audio data from the hi-res offerings from Amazon Music HD, Deezer, Qobuz and TIDAL. Like all BluOS™-enabled components, the amplifier also understands the decoding and playback of MQA files.

Owners of smart home systems from the manufacturers Control4, Crestron, Elan, RTI and others can integrate the NAD C700 directly into these control systems. This enables central operation of music playback together with other smart functions such as controlling lighting, blinds, heating and alarm systems.

Extensive connection options

In addition to its network functionality, the C700 is prepared for the connection of numerous other audio sources. It has two analog RCA high-level inputs as well as coaxial and optical digital inputs for connecting CD players, game consoles and other components. There is also an HDMI eARC connection for a suitably equipped TV set. In this case, the volume of the NAD can be conveniently adjusted using the TV remote control.

Music data stored on a smartphone, tablet or notebook can also be played back wirelessly via Bluetooth^® aptX™ HD possible. The Bluetooth integrated in the C 700^®module is not only capable of receiving data, but also sends them directly to a connected Bluetooth if necessary^®-Headphones.

In addition to the speaker outputs, the C 700 is equipped with a subwoofer output that can be configured via the BluOS™ app. The low and high pass settings allow for a seamless transition between the subwoofer and the main speakers.

The NAD C700 BluOS™ Streaming Amplifier is a compact, stylish all-in-one solution with built-in networking capabilities that make the device ready for the new world of digital music. Despite its compact dimensions, the C700 convinces with powerful, playful and dynamic music reproduction. And thanks to its numerous digital and analog inputs, the amplifier can also be easily combined with traditional wired components.

The C700 can be used as an independent hi-fi system or as part of a multi-room system. The BluOS™ network technology enables the management and control of up to 64 listening zones via the LAN and WLAN network with full support for high-resolution audio data. AirPlay 2 is also available to Apple users for integration into the local network.
