The active wireless OBERON C series combines the simplest start-up and operation with excellent sound quality - regardless of whether you transmit your music via Bluetooth from your smartphone, with HDMI from the TV set or via one of the analogue and digital inputs of the SOUND HUB COMPACT central control unit. The set consists of the following products:
The chassis and crossovers used in the OBERON C series are designed in such a way that they emit the audio signals from a particularly wide angle. This not only enables a sonorous and spatially precise reproduction outside of the sweet spot, but also significantly reduces the harmonic distortions and diffractions that impair the sound.
The audio signals are transmitted from the SOUND HUB COMPACT to the OBERON C loudspeakers using a proprietary 30-bit wireless protocol. The latency from the input to the loudspeaker is usually less than 15 ms, and both loudspeakers are controlled at the same time.
In every OBERON C loudspeaker, two class D power amplifiers, each with an impulse power of 50 watts, are used, which were selected for their high sound quality and dynamics. One amplifier supplies the tweeter, one the low-midrange driver (or the two low-midrange drivers of the OBERON 7 C).
The pole piece of the magnet systems of all OBERON C mid-bass drivers consists in part of the non-conductive Soft Magnetic Compound (SMC) magnet material patented by DALI. The use of SMC significantly reduces mechanical distortion, which means that the loudspeakers sound very pleasant over a long period of time and, given the price range, are surprisingly detailed.
The wireless OBERON C series proves that real hi-fi sound quality and perfect ease of use can be easily integrated into modern lifestyle environments and media systems with the help of active speakers. The control center of the system, the SOUND HUB COMPACT, not only enables a Bluetooth connection to a smartphone or tablet, but also playback of the TV sound via HDMI and the connection of other audio sources via cable.

I was first advised against a wireless system. After detailed advice from Heimkinowelten, I then decided on the wireless system from Dali's Oberon series. Here, the manufacturer itself promises a sound quality that is in no way inferior to wired systems. With a bit of skepticism and the option of returning it, I then ordered the complete 5.1 wireless home cinema set.

At my request, Heimkinowelten has already installed all the modules in the SoundHub in advance. The rest of the setup is pretty simple and went faster than expected.
First sound impression:
Simply put - AMAZING - My wife and kids started with music and then we moved on to a film. The soundscape was always spectacular. By the way, it didn't take long until we expanded the system to 7.1 with two additional Oberon On-Walls. We've been using the system for almost 4 weeks now and haven't had a drop-out or a moment where we've regretted this purchase.
And finally ...
We have a clear recommendation here. Thanks to the modules, the system can be kept up to date at all times and you don't have to worry that you will eventually have an outdated system that is no longer compatible. This makes the purchase decision easier in general. The sound is unbelievably clear and dynamic, and the wireless installation is a lot easier for us or we wouldn't have been able to get a 7.1 system with us otherwise.
