The 2nd generation of the innovative integrated amplifier for the internet and streaming era

Like the original NAD M10, the M10v2 combines an innovative network streamer and a powerful 2 x 100 watt amplifier in an extremely compact housing. It is operated either via the color touchscreen on the front of the device, the infrared remote control included in the scope of delivery, via the BluOS™ app available for Android, iOS, Windows and macOS or via the Kindle Fire. New features in the V2 version of the M10 include updated amplifier tuning and an option for Dolby Digital multi-channel playback^® soundtrack.

HiFi Stereo and Dolby^® digital rendering

In addition to its extremely high-quality speaker connections, the M10v2 has two independent subwoofer outputs that can be conveniently configured using the BluOS™ Controller app. In addition, the second generation of the M10 understands not only a sonorous stereo playback but also the decoding of Dolby Digital^® surround sound. Home cinema fans can – also via the BluOS™ app – integrate two additional wireless BluOS™-enabled speakers or a corresponding amplifier for playback of the two rear surround channels, while the main speakers play the front channels. In this way, Dolby^® Play digital soundtracks in audio format 4.0, 4.1 or 4.2. Thanks to the wireless control of the rear channels, there is no need to lay speaker cables across the room, even in surround mode.

Extensive playback options

The M10v2 offers a wealth of playback possibilities. The streaming amplifier connects to numerous online streaming services and Internet radio stations via the BluOS™ app installed on a smartphone, tablet or computer and plays music archived on your USB and NAS hard drives. The multi-room capable BluOS™ network can manage up to 64 BluOS™ loudspeakers and components (via LAN, up to 16 players in WLAN).

The integrated bidirectional Bluetooth module not only allows you to play back the music data stored on your smartphone, tablet or laptop in high-resolution aptX™ HD quality, but also to listen to a wireless Bluetooth device if required^® forward headphones. In addition, the M10v2 supports AirPlay 2 to conveniently stream music from an iPhone, iPad or an Apple Music library. And with Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect, the music from these services can be played directly via the respective apps.

In addition, the M10v2 also connects to numerous audio sources via conventional connection cables: analogue cinch, optical and coaxial digital, HDMI eARC and USB Type A inputs are available for connecting disc players, game consoles, external drives and TV -devices and other components.

High resolution touch screen

The M18v10's new 2cm IPS touchscreen delivers more realistic colors and allows for a wider viewing angle than the original M10's display. Use the touchscreen to select tracks and sources, adjust volume and other settings. The included, ultra-compact remote control controls volume, skips tracks, and activates preset commands. In addition, the M10v2 can also learn infrared codes from your existing remote control.

Designed by the award-winning design company DF-ID, the M10v2's body is made of brushed aluminum with Gorilla Glass on the top and front. With its elegant, minimalist design, the M10v2 fits perfectly into any living room, not only in terms of sound, but also visually.

Dirac Live^® room correction

To ensure optimal sound quality in any listening room, the M10v2 features Dirac Live^®-Room Correction. With the help of the calibrated microphone included in the scope of delivery and the intuitive Dirac app, level peaks and dips in the frequency range up to 500 Hz caused by room acoustics can be corrected; a full-bandwidth Dirac version is available as an option. The M10v2 can store up to five Dirac profiles for different listening positions or room conditions - for example, one correction each for the listening room with open and closed curtains.

Roon Ready

Roon is a system for managing and playing back music data that is stored on your in-house server or comes into the house via the TIDAL and Qobuz streaming services. A suitable NAS drive or a Windows or Mac computer acts as the central unit of the system, known as the "Roon Core". The Roon Core retrieves extensive information on the artist and album as well as numerous other details from the Roon database for the music being played and shows this on the computer display, tablet or smartphone. The M10v2 can be integrated as a playback device in the Roon network, which is also suitable for multi-room operation.

High performance, high resolution

Behind the display, which takes up almost the entire front of the device, is an innovative power pack that impresses with enormous dynamics and exquisite detail resolution. Based on the renowned nCore technology, the hybrid digital amplifier of the M10v2 mobilizes a continuous output power of 2 x 100 watts and pulse power peaks of 160 W at 8 Ω or 300 W at 4 Ω. Compared to the previous M10 model, modified amplification algorithms allow higher output levels when room correction Dirac Live^® or the tone controls are activated. The level of the subwoofer outputs has also been increased, so that a larger selection of suitable subwoofer-main speaker combinations is possible.

A Saber D/A converter from chip specialist ESS, designed specifically for audiophile playback properties, processes high-resolution signals of up to 10 bit/2 kHz in the M24 V192. The amplifier can also stream lossless and high-resolution audio data from online services such as Amazon Music Ultra HD, Deezer, Qobuz, Tidal, Spotify and many others and decode MQA data packets in studio quality.

Fit for the smart home

The M10v2 can not only be conveniently operated via Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri voice controls, but can also be integrated into Apple, Control4, Crestron, Elan, Lutron and other smart home systems. The music playback can then be controlled centrally with other home automation functions such as lighting, blinds, heating & ventilation and alarm system.
