vintage inspired

The industrial design of the C 3050 was inspired by the NAD 3030 stereophonic amplifier, a classic of the 1970s. Vintage styling cues include dual illuminated VU meters, push buttons for source selection, a walnut colored vinyl clad cabinet and dark gray faceplate with the original New Acoustic Dimension logo in 1970s italic script.

Featuring NAD's renowned HybridDigital UcD amplifier technology, the C 3050 features full disclosure power of 100 watts per channel continuously and 135 wpc instantaneously, for effortless reproduction of musical transients. Noise and distortion are virtually immeasurable across the audio band. The result is a neutral, inviting sound across any speaker load—even at high volumes. The
C 3050 reproduces the music you love with wonderful detail, impressive spatiality and stirring dynamics.

The digital section uses Texas Instruments PCM5242 high-resolution differential DAC, a design known for its excellent dynamic performance and immunity to clock jitter. As a result, the C 3050 delivers amazing musicality, breathtaking clarity and pinpoint sound reproduction from all digital sources.

Future-proof

The C 3050 features the latest generation of NAD's future-proof Modular Design Construction technology, MDC2, which allows the user to add new functions and features by inserting an add-on module into the rear panel MDC2 slot. MDC2 is a completely new design that enables two-way communication between the expansion module and the host component. The optional MDC2 BluOS-D module offers two highly desirable features: BluOS High-Resolution Music Streaming and Dirac Live Room Correction.
