Yamaha Parametric Room Acoustic Optimizer (YPAO®)
Environmental factors play an important role in a room's sonic signature and in any type of audio. Yamaha's proprietary YPAO™ auto-calibration feature, used in home theater products for decades, has been optimized for the R-N1000A to create the ideal listening environment. It's almost like being in a professional listening room - without having to make tedious manual adjustments. YPAO™ includes a precision EQ that performs extremely precise equalization with accuracy up to 192kHz/64-bit audio resolution. YPAO™ RSC (Reflected Sound Control) actively controls the important early reflection noise and automatically adjusts and optimizes the sound reproduction in the room depending on the wall material and speaker placement. That means you can enjoy the rich sound and unparalleled feel of hi-fi audio right in the comfort of your own living room.

EXPERIENCE THE LEGEND, ENJOY THE MUSICALITY
Yamaha has over 60 years of history as an audio brand. The R-N1000A's engineering draws directly from Yamaha's legendary ToP-ART (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology) hi-fi design concept, which preserves the integrity of the sound through the combination of a carefully balanced left/right circuit layout and the directness of the Signals (signal paths that are as straight and short as possible) are combined with a low-vibration, highly rigid chassis that is equipped with the special resin frame, the "Art Base". This frame absorbs and dampens unnecessary vibrations. This preserves the purity and dynamics of the sound.
ENCLOSURE WITH DOUBLE BOTTOM
The cabinet structure is further reinforced by a double bottom chassis and a 1mm thick damping iron plate at the bottom of the chassis. This eliminates various vibrations that could degrade the sound and enhances the expressiveness of the low frequencies—all with the profound power and smooth grace of a full symphony orchestra.
ANTI-RESONANCE FEET
The R-N1000A also features anti-resonance feet that are designed using the concept of vibration damping. The arrangement of thin, curved reinforcement rods on the outer edge and thick, straight reinforcement rods in the middle effectively dissipates and reduces vibration energy transmitted from the outside of the foot, while maintaining high stiffness in the middle. This creates a precise sound that lets you fully feel the rhythm and dynamics of the music.
