A vented aluminum cone with exceptional stiffness-to-mass ratio and a proprietary injection-molded surround provide precise control and accuracy at the highest excursions. The new flat split-wind voice coil further reduces the mass and improves the overall efficiency of the driver.

Novel Intelligent Control Interface (ICI)

The Intelligent Control Interface (ICI) on the rear of the device was specially developed for the 3000 series and offers control of the most important functions of the subwoofer. Volume can be adjusted based on listening preferences and content, ensuring full and balanced bass response. Other features of the ICI include a low-pass filter to ensure smooth sound transitions and seamless mixing with speakers, and phase adjustment to match subwoofer output timing to main speakers or additional subwoofers.
