NAD T758 V3i

The NAD T758 V3i represents the third - and again improved - generation of this successful and award-winning A/V receiver. With its 4K Ultra HD video, Dolby Atmos and DTS-X support and five individually programmable A/V presets, this AV receiver offers unprecedented possibilities for the reproduction of picture and sound. In addition, the integrated BluOS™ module makes the NAD T758 V3i a powerful network streamer for high-resolution audio data including the studio master format MQA. Also on board is the extremely effective Dirac Live® Room correction, which ensures a perfect, always transparent cinema experience in every room with the help of the calibrated measurement microphone included in the scope of delivery. The NAD T758 V3i is controlled via the deliberately reduced control elements on the front or the supplied IR remote control. Thanks to the unique NAD PowerDrive™ system, the seven integrated power amplifiers deliver a high sound level and the full dynamics of the music or film soundtracks even at full load. The latest version T758 V3i also supports Apple AirPlay 2.

MDC – future-proof modular system

MDC, short for Modular Design Construction, is NAD's measure against hi-fi systems that are too quickly obsolete. In particular, the technologies for A/V devices have been developing faster and faster in recent decades. Therefore, home theater fans who want new file formats, higher bandwidth High Speed HDMI connections or additional height channels for surround playback like Dolby Atmos® want to use are forced to regularly replace their A/V receiver or amplifier. NAD's MDC policy is to integrate all age-sensitive technologies on a high-quality plug-in card that can be quickly and easily exchanged for a newer version by a qualified technician. In addition, the MDC modules enable individual assembly of the corresponding NAD amplifiers.

Numerous sound formats

Popular surround sound formats, including Dolby Atmos HD formats®, DTS:X and DTS Master Audio, the T 758 V3i decodes with the latest generation of high-speed multi-core DSPs. In addition, the receiver supports high-resolution audio formats such as Master Quality Authenticated (MQA), which are included in the BluOS™ system.

Excellent video quality

The T758 V3i supports the latest digital video technologies including UltraHD video with resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 pixels at 60 frames per second with 4:4:4 color space. Analog video sources are also converted to HDMI for easy connection to your flat screen or projector with one cable. The video processing is then done in your TV, eliminating the need for unnecessary format conversions like many other A/V receivers do.

Easy handling

We designed a very simple user interface for our receivers that is incredibly flexible, yet easy to use. Each source component retains the same custom settings no matter what it is selected for display. In addition, five individually programmable AV presets allow custom settings for different types of program material (movies, concerts, classical, etc.) that adjust the performance to your taste. The inputs can be named according to their components. If necessary, the receiver can provide sound to a second independent listening zone - the internal surround channel amplifiers are used for this.

Dirac Live® – Software for correction of room acoustics and impulse response

Dirac Live® is an innovative room correction whose basic function is to calibrate an audio system to the acoustics of the listening room. However, in addition to adjusting specific frequencies, Dirac uses Live® advanced algorithms to also analyze the impulse behavior of the audio signals being played. In this way, possible discrepancies between the impulses contained in the original signal and their reproduction are corrected so that the hi-fi system sounds more balanced, natural and spatial. During the NAD M17.2 the full version of Dirac Live® on board, the other devices with this feature have the light version, which only processes the particularly problematic low frequencies up to 500 Hz. An upgrade to the full version is possible at any time. More information about Dirac Live here.

Apple AirPlay 2

The T758 V3i can be integrated into an Apple network via AirPlay 2 and then selected directly as a playback device for your music stream via your Mac, iPhone or iPad. And if you have activated Siri voice control on your Apple device, all you have to do is say "Hey Siri, play the latest Paul McCartney album" or "Hey Siri, play NDR 2" and your NAD HiFi system will start playback immediately.

BluOS™ – multi-room streaming in HD quality

BluOS™ is an innovative, wireless system that allows music to be streamed throughout the house. The associated user interface is one of the few solutions worldwide to stream uncompressed high-resolution 24-bit / 192 kHz music data to the players integrated in the network. BluOS™ only uses the local network for the transmission of music and organization of the platform - and is controlled with the BluOS™ app available for smartphones and tablets or a Windows or Mac computer. Since BluOS™ is multi-room capable, up to 64 zones can be integrated and controlled either synchronously with an audio stream or individually with different programs at different volumes. Bluesound understands numerous file formats from MP3 to MQA Studio Master quality. Whether streaming music services, your own music library on a hard drive or Internet radio - with BluOS™ you always have access to your favorite music throughout the network.

Incidentally, BluOS™ can also be integrated into some innovative home automation systems, so that in addition to the intelligent control of lighting, heating and other building services, it is also possible to operate a BluOS™ multi-room system via the smart home panel. The driver software for the systems from the manufacturers Control4, Creston, ELAN, iPort, Lutron, Push, RTI and URC are available for download at the top of the sub-navigation under the "Smarthome Integration" tab.

MQA - Studio master quality music

MQA is not a new file format, but an innovative way of packaging large music files with complex coding, efficient compression technology and a digital signature in such a way that even original studio master recordings in 24-bit/192 kHz format can be stored in comparatively small data packages packaged and made available online. For this purpose, the music data is packaged in any container such as ALAC, FLAC or WAV. When playing back via a decoder integrated in BluOS™, the player completely unpacks the file and returns it to its original format, the studio master file, without any loss.

*Note: The T 758 V3i includes a Dirac Live Light license with the ability to upgrade to the full version. Firmware version 2.12.9 or later is required to enable Dirac Live. Learn more about updating your device's firmware here.
