WEDDING SEASON – Coming to Disney+ September 8th
Disney+ today announced that the first British original series, the romance-action thriller Wedding Season, will premiere exclusively on the streaming service on Disney+ Day on Thursday, September 8th. Simultaneously with the announcement, the first images of the brand new series were released, which will be shown on Disney+ worldwide, Star+ in Latin America and Hulu in the US.
The genre-typical series tells the story of Katie and Stefan, who fall in love at a wedding and start an affair, although Katie already has a fiancé. Two months later, at Katie's wedding, her new husband and his entire family are murdered. The police believe that Stefan did it. Stefan thinks Katie did it. And no one knows for sure what the truth is...
The series is an action-packed foray into the UK and US that sees Katie and Stefan on the run while trying to prove their innocence.
“Wedding Season” stars Rosa Salazar and Gavin Drea, Jade Harrison, Jamie Michie, Callie Cooke, Bhav Joshi, Ioanna Kimbook and Omar Baroud.
