Stealth Acoustics SLR8G

The Stealth Acoustics SLR8G is a two-channel, full-range speaker system that is primarily used in distributed audio systems because it can reproduce both stereo channels as a single panel. The SLR8G features a sturdy frame that attaches directly to standard structure and is completely invisible once installed. The paintable active cone surface is bonded to the speaker panel frame, creating an active area surrounded by a stable mounting area.

The SLR8G features an acoustically-coupled, high-quality, high-performance 8" cone woofer and two direct-coupled 25mm neo-magnet high-frequency motors. Advanced internal carbon fiber materials allow smooth frequency extension up to 20kHz. When installed in a standard insulated 8″ x 2″ frame and operating in a full 4 foot stud frame, the SLR8G can achieve frequency response below 45 Hz. The SLR8G features independent crossovers and protection circuits (high and low ranges) for each channel that automatically reset when excessive amplifier power is detected. This rugged speaker is built to last as long as your house.

The SLR8G can be installed either in the wall or in the ceiling. On-site finishing options include latex paint, lightweight wallpaper, fabrics and select textured paints. There is no need for special parchments or other non-standard wall covering materials. Advanced finishing methods such as Venetian plaster and selected veneers are supported by special techniques.
