Stealth Acoustics LR8G

The Stealth Acoustics LR8G is a full-range, two-way speaker system that is completely invisible once installed. The speaker features a rigid frame that attaches directly to a standard structure. The paintable active cone surface is bonded to the speaker panel frame, creating an active surface surrounded by a stable mounting surface. Installation instructions are presented on a paper overlay that must be removed prior to installation. The overlay can also be used as a cutting template for retrofitting the speakers into existing wall panels.

The LR8G can be built into both the wall and the ceiling. On-site finishing options include latex paint, lightweight wallpaper, fabrics and select textured paints. No special parchments or other non-standard wallboard materials are required. Modern finishing methods such as Venetian plaster and selected veneers are supported by special techniques.

The Stealth Acoustics LR8G features an acoustically-coupled, high-quality, high-performance 8" cone woofer and a direct-coupled 25mm Neo-Magnet high-frequency motor. Advanced internal carbon fiber materials allow smooth frequency extension up to 20kHz. When installed in a standard insulated 8″ x 2″ frame and operating in a full 4 foot stud frame, the LR8G can achieve frequency response below 40 Hz. The LR8G features two independent protection circuits (high and low frequency range) that will automatically reset if the amplifier power is reduced too much.
