You can overdo anything...

...and that's exactly why we decided to develop the reference cable XLR EPILOGUE really "hooked in": At the request of many purists, we dared to do what was "technically and audiophilely" feasible and created a product which, in tests in well-known studios, sounded more convincing than cables, which cost many times more.
Based on our star quad multicore, we embedded four cores in a jacket so that they can be connected crosswise to reduce the capacitance. The cores are 100% shielded by a dense CU mesh and a semiconductor. For better conductivity, all four cores have been provided with carbon conductor smoothing. The XLR EPILOGUE guarantees - and that without a long break-in period - success: an absolutely neutral reproduction and it plays very dynamically.

The XLR EPILOGUE has been on the market since the end of 2002 and was able to convince in a number of test publications after only a short time. It is the absolute reference cable for reputable hi-fi dealers who place great emphasis on linear transmission instead of filling the displays with "candy-colored power lines". Among other things, it adorns the Skyline Studios in Düsseldorf, which are known worldwide for high-quality productions.

We recommend this for connecting preamps and power amps, for connecting audiophile CD and SACD players, turntables and of course for professional studio technology. Due to the low capacitance of approx. 35 pF wire/wire, experience has shown that it works with almost no loss at lengths of up to 10 meters. This is due to the very complex processing and the sophisticated wiring EPILOGUE only offered as a ready-made set.
The connector is modified and insulated with HD-PTFE HICON-RCA connector that is specially reworked and provided with more elaborate shielding and engraving for the two channels. This is not available separately in stores. Please make sure before you buy that it is an original cable made by us. For balanced applications available with “SATIN” XLR connectors, which are twisted on the male and female versions, have real gold-plated contacts and a capacitive cable shield-shell connection against HF interference signals. This special EMC version with 360° shield contact is developed by NEUTRIK exclusively for SUMMER CABLE produced.
