Monitor Audio WSS130
The entry-level model in the Super Slim in-wall speaker series, the Monitor Audio WSS130 fits perfectly in multi-room audio and home theater installations. A 25mm gold dome tweeter complements MMP II diaphragms for an overall smooth tonal character.
The WSS range offers a refreshingly simple “good, better, best” menu choice. The Super Slim WSS loudspeakers offer unique flexibility, best reproduction and elegant looks to achieve perfect results in the most technically demanding applications.
The WSS130 is the entry-level model and is ideal for general home theater and music applications. With three woofers/midrange drivers plus a tweeter, the speakers have been intelligently designed to enable the reproduction of a much larger monitor. The three driver layout is key here as it makes the frontal profile look slim at just 101mm wide and allows for a depth of just 50mm. Consequently, the possible installation scenarios are limitless. The ability to work in designs with 2″ studs slides effortlessly into view and mounting in areas limited by AVC ducts, cables or services is easily doable. The WSS130 has MMP II cone diaphragms complemented by a 25mm gold dome tweeter. This MMP membrane technology allows an easy transition between frequency ranges and an overall smooth sound character.
The WSS130 uses Monitor Audio's patented 'Tri-Grip' mounting system, which ensures a robust mounting. This system has been tried and tested in the CT and WT ranges for the last ten years, so you can be sure that it works perfectly. All three models share the same footprint and installation template, providing simplicity and allowing you to easily switch to a more powerful model in the range.
