Monitor Audio WSS230
The Monitor Audio WSS230 features the acclaimed C-CAM metal diaphragms, resulting in higher sound precision and more detailed reproduction. This super slim built-in model is a step above the WSS130 and is suitable for projects where (even) more precise music reproduction is required.
The mid-range WSS230's performance is a notch above - upgrades here include Monitor Audio's acclaimed C-CAM metal cones, allowing for improved reproduction and more detailed sonic characteristics.
The WW230 brings you new ideas - for example, the installation in constructions with 2″ studs is effortless. Is assembly restricted by AVC ducts, cables or wires? No problem for this in-wall speaker or other speakers in the range. These models can also be mounted horizontally (portrait) between a standard 14″ stud bay. This allows the same speakers to be installed around a screen, resulting in a unified look and identical LCR performance.
To protect against damage from remaining masonry or building materials, Monitor Audio designed a protective cover to keep the drivers and crossovers safe. And the frameless bezel not only provides protection, but also an incredibly understated look with a low profile. These covers can be painted to match the decor, with the supplied replacement mesh grille maintaining the speaker's unobtrusive appearance when redecorated. Extra strong, magnetically attached rare earth magnets ensure long-term security, easy installation and simple maintenance.
