The HKW Screens Floor Up CLR Black STAR is a high-quality electronic floor motor screen with a 0.7 Gain CLR cloth and a tension system. Here we placed particular emphasis on the highest possible black value. The screen is particularly intended for film and series fans who want to get the maximum black value from their laser TV. Can be used with laser TVs from 2000 ANSI lumens. The constant sawtooth structure ensures stable light control, uniform visual effects and a wide projection angle range, providing superior contrast, image quality and an immersive viewing experience.

During production, the cloth is subjected to a high-temperature treatment, which gives it excellent light-absorbing properties. It effectively absorbs light, reducing reflections and scattering, improving contrast and image quality. I was able to take a detailed look at the screen at Heimkinowelten and also compare it with two other models. I particularly liked the workmanship quality and the well thought-out concept. On other models, the internal wiring didn't look as professional and the price was also higher. Since the investment exceeded the budget anyway, it was positive for a change to find the quality we were looking for in a slightly cheaper version. Together with the screen we also bought a piece of furniture from Heimkinowelten. The screen fits in here and the projector automatically moves out of the lowboard when switched on. We haven't received the furniture yet. Only seen the model at home theater worlds as a sample and demonstration. The market launch will probably follow this month, we are excited.

The delivery took a little longer than the stated 7-10 days, the Leiwnand was with me on the 12th day. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but should still be mentioned. At first I was a little disappointed, the cloth didn't come out clean and the material didn't roll out properly. The cloth is actually glued together for transport so that it only unfolds after a few days. Then the cloth no longer sticks to itself and the extension works elegantly. All in all a very good investment.

For us an alternative to the Elite Screens motorized screen, which is currently not available. We now have the screen on site and installed it and think that it is probably not only the alternative but also the better one. The screen is much easier for us to integrate because it is not as slanted as the Elite Screens. Otherwise the quality and flatness is good. Behind it we have now taken a flat center from the Klipsch Design series. This is possible without any problems thanks to the acoustically transparent lead. Another plus point.
