The Episode Home Theater line offers performance-driven, high quality loudspeakers for general purpose and dedicated home theater spaces. With an updated design, improved driver technology and support for the latest immersive surround formats such as Dolby Atmos, Home Theater meets today's home theater audio market demands.

Rigid MDF construction

All Episode home theater products are made of strong MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) construction. Unlike cheap chipboard, MDF is dense and reduces vibration, preventing SPL (sound pressure level) losses and providing a clean sound.

Carbon fiber woofers with inverted surrounds

The strong carbon fiber cone resists deformations that would cause sound distortion, while the rigid die-cast basket reduces mid-bass distortion and improves cooling. Inverted ribbed beads increase the effective piston area and stroke, while the ribbing further reduces distortion and acts like an accordion to allow for stretch and a more linear stroke of the diaphragm.

1 inch aluminum dome tweeter

Aluminum tweeters are strong, lightweight and respond well to changes in the music. We chambered the tweeter and added a copper shorting ring to improve sound quality by reducing fundamental resonance and distortion.

2nd order Linkwitz-Riley filter

Linkwitz-Riley filters, working in tandem with a tweeter and woofer, use a crossover network to help summation at the crossover point, keeping the frequency response flat and creating a smoothly changing phase response.

Acoustically transparent local magnetic covers

Local grilles minimize acoustic interaction with the speaker for better sound quality with less interference. A traditional full-cloth grille is available as an option. A variety of Episode HT Series speakers including a subwoofer and cabinet speaker.

Multiple color options

Available in gloss black, gloss white and walnut to complement a variety of decor styles and to coordinate with other Episode products.

Gold plated 5 pin binding posts on the back of the Episode HT series

High-quality gold-plated 5-way terminals ensure a secure connection, depending on how you wire the speaker. The speaker can even be bi-amped for ultimate flexibility.
