The Elite Screens Blackfire CLR is an EDGE FREE® fixed frame screen utilizing CLR (Ceiling Light Rejecting®) material. Its serriform optical surface lens microstructure negates the washout effect of ambient light, particularly overhead light sources. In addition, the material offers a contrast that is 75 times higher than that of standard matt white projection screens.

The Elite Screens Elite Screens Blackfire CLR (Ceiling Light Rejecting) UST is a daylight frame screen without a visible frame (Edge Free Technology), specially developed for projection with UST Ultrashort projectors (also called Laser TV). Due to the invisible frame, the screen can be perfectly integrated into a living room or office. The light aluminum frame is covered with the Blackfire CLR cloth. Together with the latest projector generation with laser or LED lamps (e.g. from VAVA, LG or Hisense), the high-contrast daylight cloth gives you a picture of a size and quality that a television cannot match. The smallest Blackfire CLR with a diagonal of 100 inches is just the entry level. We recommend the future-proof 110 or 120 inch sizes. Let us advise you! I was hesitating between a Celexon, Changhong or this screen and finally settled on Elite Screens. Simply because he has the best reputation by word of mouth and is a screen expert. I don't regret the decision. The quality of the canvas is just great, as expected. The package was and the assembly was easy to handle. My recommendation is to do it with two people. It's just a lot more comfortable and safer.

The gain of 0.8 got me on this canvas. It was actually supposed to be a Daylight Extreme frame screen, but it just didn't fit into the budget and I didn't want to wait any longer. So this screen came at just the right time, with a little more gain than the manufacturer's screen, which has been available for a while and is also cheaper. We simply have a very bright living room and need brightness rather than maximum contrast.

For me, a CLR screen that doesn't necessarily have very low back reflection was important. I had the standard Hisense screen before, which only had a gain of 0.4 and that was far too little. With this CLR screen, I now have a much brighter and more beautiful picture without having to replace the good laser TV.
