Description

DSPeaker Anti-Mode 2.0 Dual Core

The DSPeaker Anti-Mode 2.0 Dual Core is a new generation of fully automatic room adjustment and offers powerful tools to create user-specific, parametric EQ functions yourself. These EQ features include full parametric equalization, peak voltage filter, low-pass and high-pass filters.
In addition, simpler tools for quick adjustment of the low bass with the help of house curves and control of the overall resonance frequency with the help of treble curves are also provided for those who do not want to delve too deeply into fully parametric filters. The inter-channel delays can be adjusted to ensure coherent integration.

In recent years, the DSPeaker Anti-Mode 8033 models have proven to be highly acclaimed and highly successful room correction modules for subwoofer integration.

In the meantime, this technology has been revised and improved from the ground up, so that the Anti-Mode 2.0 Dual Core can now be integrated into any system configuration of loudspeakers and subwoofer thanks to two more powerful, digital signal processors. Even large high-end loudspeakers cannot avoid standing waves and spongy bass due to room influences, but now they can be integrated into the room with surgical precision using automatic or manual room correction and thus unfold their full potential.

In addition to the original anti-mode subwoofer correction, the AM 2.0 DC can now also act as a full signal processor with both analogue and digital inputs and as a USB DAC (digital/analogue converter) and also offers automatic room correction.
Finally, control via parametric EQ's including volume adjustment is combined in one remote-controlled device.

This proven room correction system gives you automatic bass correction on two full-range channels (5 Hz - 20 kHz) as well as manual fine-tuning of the EQ settings in a state-of-the-art dual-core DSP.

It is well known that any indoor listening environment will always have standing waves and other bass problems when using full-range speakers, as with subwoofers. These problems occur in particular from the deep bass to the lower midrange, i.e. in regions in which the classic absorber solutions lose their effectiveness.

The Anti-Mode 2.0 Dual Core can function as a high-quality USB or S/PDIF DAC, with dual 6.144MHz oversampling multi-bit DACs available per output channel. It can also be used as a preamp with digitally controlled analog resistance network volume controls - again remotely controllable. This implementation is advantageous because it allows a dynamic range of 120 dB with minimal adjustment differences.

The analogue outputs consist of gold-plated balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA (Cinch) sockets. In addition to the analog outputs, the device supports the "Pure Digital Mode", in which it processes a digital stereo signal via S/PDIF with 24 bits and 32 / 44.1 / 48 / 88.2 / 96 kHz in order to then send it to the room-adapted, processed signal with 16 bit / 48 kHz at the digital output socket (Toslink S/PDIF).

The Anti-Mode 2.0 Dual Core can also be used as an independent signal processor, which independently measures the room response with the supplied precision microphone and displays the result on the integrated color display. This gives the user the knowledge they need to find the optimal position and angle of the loudspeakers. In addition, you can immediately see the difference between the uncorrected resonance frequencies and those that have been adapted to the room using anti-mode, and of course you can hear the effect on any manual equalizer settings.
