I was looking for a small solution for my kitchen. This is quite small and a television was out of the question. It should be a solution that we position on top of the kitchen cupboard and project from there at an angle onto a white wall. At first we used the Formovie Xming Page One Full HD LED projector, but we weren't very happy with the brightness. The sharpness wasn't enough either. We don't always sit in the kitchen in the daylight, but the light is always on. So it would have to be something with more power. As soon as we switched it on for the first time, we had the feeling that the brightness had quadrupled. The colors and sharpness were also from a completely different world. Ok, the Dangbei Atom costs almost twice as much, but also performs significantly more than twice as much. And its shape makes it even easier to hide on the kitchen cupboard. Completely sufficient for our purposes and ideas and a worthwhile investment. I can finally watch my series in peace while cooking etc. Yes, of course, a luxury problem ;)

Was actually able to keep up with my 5 year old, much larger Acer projector very quickly and easily. Keeping up is the wrong word! It's quieter, it's smarter and it also offers a better picture. The black level is also significantly better.

A positive surprise. Even a 2-year-old pico projector from Philips never really captivated me. The second attempt with the Dangbei and it's a completely different picture. I didn't have high expectations and resigned myself to just sending it back if I didn't like it. But things turned out differently and I'm glad about it. Very quiet and a great picture.
