The PULSE SOUNDBAR+ is the first product to represent the next generation of Bluesound devices and sets new standards in its product segment in several respects. The new BluOS™ streaming module has eight times the computing power and four times the storage speed compared to the previous version. In addition, the PULSE SOUNDBAR+ now supports Dolby Atmos®*, with the wireless surround speakers being driven via a dedicated WiFi connection. And the operating concept has also been revised: The most important functions can now be controlled via a touch panel on the front of the device. Whether music, films or games - the PULSE SOUNDBAR+ creates - without the need for additional components such as an AV receiver or CD player - an impressive stereo and home cinema experience.

With high-resolution 24-bit audio processing, eight loudspeaker chassis and 120 watts of total output power, the PULSE SOUNDBAR+ offers audio playback in audiophile sound quality with a bass foundation that is astonishingly deep and clearly contoured given the compact dimensions. Home cinema fans in particular will be pleased that the soundbar can also be connected wirelessly to the PULSE SUB+ for more volume and pressure in the deep bass. And for surround back channel playback, simply add a pair of PULSE FLEX 2i speakers, which are also wirelessly controlled.
INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES
The PULSE SOUNDBAR+ features a brand new quad-core processor specially designed to deliver audio data at ultra-fast speeds and in the highest quality. For Bluesound, this technology means stepping into the next BluOS generation. The chipset, which was specifically developed for music streaming, has four processor cores and is therefore more powerful than all other processors used in streaming speakers to date.
SPECTACULAR DOLBY ATMOS 3D SOUND
Dolby Atmos® enables on the one hand the extremely realistic reproduction of all Dolby Atmos®-Decoded movie soundtracks and music tracks. In addition, other audio files can also be played back with a sound stage that is larger in every respect. For an immersive surround experience, you can choose from the three virtualization profiles Film, Music and Late Night. It is a matter of honor that the timbre of the sound remains as natural as possible throughout the listening environment, regardless of the setting chosen. For the best surround sound, the SOUNDBAR+ can be expanded with two PULSE FLEX2i and one PULSE SUB+. But even when used alone, the soundbar creates a completely new music and film experience. Dolby Atmos® positions each sound around you, creating a three-dimensional space that puts you in the recording studio or in the thick of the action, bringing you closer to the artists and actors.
MANY CONNECTION POSSIBILITIES
Almost any audio source can be connected to the PULSE SOUNDBAR+ - a variety of wireless, digital and analog connection options are available: TV set or games console via HDMI eARC, smartphones or laptops via Apple AirPlay 2 and bidirectional Bluetooth® aptX™ HD, external audio sources via Toslink, RCA or USB as well as music streaming services and your own music library wirelessly via our proprietary high-resolution BluOS™ streaming system. This can also be upgraded to a multiroom system with up to 63 other BluOS™ players from Bluesound and other brands and integrated into numerous professional home automation systems.
BLUOS MUSIC STREAMING
The BluOS™ streaming platform offers you the opportunity to stream your favorite music, podcasts, radio plays and radio stations from the Internet. You have direct access to numerous music streaming services and their catalogues. Even MQA music data stored in studio quality, such as those offered by Tidal, can be played. You can browse your personal music libraries via the local LAN or WLAN network and enjoy your songs and albums in lossless quality, integrate the SOUNDBAR+ via Apple AirPlay 2 or play back the music stored on your smartphone via Bluetooth® aptX™ HD.
MULTIROOM PLAYBACK
Network the PULSE SOUNDBAR+ with other Bluesound players to stream music in different rooms absolutely synchronously. Alternatively, each Bluesound player in the network can also be controlled with a different stream, for example to listen to children's songs in the dining room and the current Ed Sheeran album in the bathroom.
PULSE SUB+
Wireless active subwoofer
The compact active subwoofer PULSE SUB+ largely corresponds to its predecessor in format and shape, but otherwise no stone was left unturned. For the first time, the PULSE SUB+ is integrated into the home network as an independent player, just like the other Bluesound products. The assignment to the desired speaker – like most other settings – is done conveniently and centrally via the BluOS™ app installed on a smartphone, tablet, PC or Mac. A cable connection is therefore no longer required - apart from the mains cable - but can alternatively be used via the cinch input of the SUB+ if required.
Also new are the significantly larger woofers with a diameter of 200 mm and the significantly more powerful output stage with 200 watts of pulse power. The chassis with its particularly light and strong polypropylene membrane and the amplifier are perfectly matched with the help of the integrated digital sound processor and ensure powerful, dynamic bass reproduction in small to medium-sized living rooms.
However, Bluesound has retained the versatile placement options for the PULSE SUB+: Thanks to its housing, which is only 15 cm deep, it can be hung on the wall in addition to the standard placements, hidden inconspicuously behind a curtain or placed under the sofa. A wall mount is included.
HOME THEATER SOUND WITH RICH BASS
The PULSE SOUNDBAR 2i is impressive on its own with a powerful and energetic bass reproduction, but in combination with the PULSE SUB+ the home cinema front speaker becomes a fully-fledged home cinema system that can be expanded with two PULSE FLEX 2i for the surround channels. Like the SOUNDBAR 2i, the PULSE SUB+ is most easily installed via the BluOSTM Controller app controlled.
FEEL THE BASS
Relieve your PULSE SOUNDBAR 2i from playing the low frequencies so that your home cinema sounds even more powerful and balanced. Once the PULSE SUB+ has been connected, the bass signals are transmitted wirelessly from the soundbar to the SUB+. With a continuous output of 150 watts and a 200 mm woofer, the PULSE SUB+ guarantees deep, dynamic bass reproduction.
COMPACT CONSTRUCTION
Thanks to its compact design and wireless control, you can easily place the PULSE SUB+ anywhere in your living room. No matter where it is - the SUB+ will always convince you with a powerful bass foundation.
DISCREET PLACEMENT
The scope of delivery of the PULSE SUB+ includes a wall bracket with which the subwoofer SUB+ can be placed discreetly behind your furniture or curtains. Due to its low height, it can also be hidden under a lot of seating furniture.

As an extension for our TV sound in the bedroom, the Bluesound Bundle cuts a very good figure. The sound quality has been significantly improved. The dialogues can now be understood properly again. The combination with other existing Bluesound products works without any problems. 5 Stars!
