Bluesound, the original hi-res multiroom streaming brand, announces the launch of a special limited anniversary edition NODE X, designed to celebrate their 10th anniversary. Based on the brand's iconic NODE Hi-Res player, the NODE X, in a unique silver finish, once again sets a new standard for audio performance and functionality with upgraded components. The NODE X costs 799 euros and is now available from us.

The streamer's performance is boosted by the venerable ESS 9028Q2M Saber DAC, popular with audiophiles for its amazing musicality, near-zero clock jitter, ultra-low noise and wide dynamic range. A true high-end headphone amplifier is powered by state-of-the-art THX AAA™ (Achromatic Audio Amplifier) ​​technology with patented feed-forward error correction, resulting in extremely low noise, distortion and power consumption. Together with the ¼” headphone jack, the NODE X offers an uncompromising headphone listening experience.

The NODE X features an improved dual-band WiFi that offers the best wireless transmission quality in its class. Over 20 built-in music services and thousands of internet radio stations are accessible directly on the NODE X or can be played from a personal digital music library on a computer or external drive via the intuitive BluOS app for iOS, Android, Mac or PC. The award-winning BluOS platform is the only platform capable of supporting up to 64 players, all streaming up to 24-bit/192kHz Hi-Res audio and supporting lossless file formats and MQA playback, allowing music lovers to use the actual studio masters of their Hearing your favorite albums the way they were originally intended. Seamlessly connect the NODE X to multiple Bluesound speakers in the home to create an intuitive multi-room music system. Control the NODE X directly from a smart device or computer, via touch panel controls with presets, via voice assistants such as Apple's Siri, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, or via the included RC1 remote for one-touch access to any Bluesound player in offers in their vicinity. The NODE X can also be integrated into a smart home, with fully functional drivers for Crestron, Control4, URC, RTI, ELAN and other popular home control systems.
