LG Electronics (LG) is presenting the new soundbar portfolio for the coming year at CES 2023 in early January, including the brand new models SC9 and SE6. The soundbars are perfectly matched to the 2023 LG TV line-up and impress with powerful, nuanced sound, practical and convenient functions and a stylish design.

LG's new soundbar models effortlessly connect to the company's TVs for an even more immersive entertainment experience. If the devices are coupled with each other, consumers benefit from WOW Orchestra, for example¹, a new feature that uses all audio channels of both products to create an expanded soundstage with increased power and better highs and lows. The 2023 soundbars and TVs offer even more synergy for an outstanding multi-surround sound solution, allowing listeners to enjoy Dolby Atmos and IMAX Enhanced powered by DTS:X.

The company's premium audio solutions also offer an intuitive user interface for the Home Dashboard on the LG TV, allowing consumers to easily manage their soundbar settings and share sound modes with the TV². WOWCAST also makes it possible to connect the 2023 soundbar models wirelessly to LG TVs - without sacrificing audio quality.

With their sophisticated design, the soundbars perfectly complement the minimalist look of the latest LG TVs and adapt to a variety of interior styles. A new bracket³ makes it possible to place the soundbar directly under the television and thus create a visually harmonious picture. With the bracket, which can be attached to the back of a compatible LG TV, the new soundbars can be mounted on the wall or on the pedestal in such a way that the best sound experience is guaranteed for the consumer - without annoying cable clutter or holes in the walls.

Thanks to LG Triple Sound technology with the world's first triple up-firing speaker, the new soundbars impress with precise sound reproduction and improved clarity for a more immersive home theater experience. New this year is Triple Level Spatial Sound technology. A virtual mid-layer is added to an HRTF-based 3D engine using channel analysis. The result is lifelike sound and a compelling sense of space that puts listeners at the center of an immersive audio environment.

With the new soundbars, consumers also benefit from increased performance thanks to the Triple Sound Optimizer and improved sound thanks to the Smart Up Mixer, which converts two-channel audio into breathtaking multi-channel surround sound. Advanced LG AI room calibration also adjusts the audio output to the user's room, analyzes the room conditions and then applies this information to the soundbar settings for greater precision in the low-frequency range. It also divides the front channel frequencies to improve overall balance, clarity of vocal performances and movie dialogue, and image fidelity.

The new models also pack LG's advanced AI Sound Pro technology. To ensure outstanding sound for any type of content, whether it's movies, sporting events, games or music, AI Sound Pro analyzes the audio signal and automatically applies the most appropriate settings.

LG's new soundbars are compatible with a wide range of services, devices and connectivity features. Users can enjoy uninterrupted playback with the best audio quality when listening to their favorite artists and tunes on music streaming services such as Tidal Connect with high-fidelity sound.

Console gamers can also take their gaming experience to the next level: the new LG soundbars support VRR to reduce screen tearing and ALLM to eliminate lag. At the same time, they enable 4K/120Hz pass-through.

The new LG SE6 Soundbar boasts a compact form that's ideal for smaller spaces and a sleek, modern design that complements virtually any interior style. Although the model is the smallest in LG's soundbar portfolio, it has four passive radiators that ensure excellent sound with powerful bass. The SE6 also supports Dolby Atmos for cinematic audio that brings content to life.

The 2023 Soundbars will be on display at CES from January 5-8, 2023 at the LG booth (#15501, Central Hall, Las Vegas Convention Center).
