Additionally, each speaker will be located in Portland, OR. developed and engineered with a full acoustic analysis in an anechoic chamber for a perfect sound experience. Installation is also a breeze thanks to Push Lock by Swarm technology, an exclusive, tool-free mounting solution designed specifically for Snap One that delivers the fastest, most secure installation in the industry.

Simple, tool-free installation

Offer your customers the ultimate audio experience with the ultimate installation! The Triad PDX features Push Lock by Swarm technology, a tool-free mounting solution designed for Snap One. Push Lock secures the speaker with a simple push of a button for the fastest, most secure installation on the market for both in-ceiling and in-wall speakers. Also, the brackets fold down an additional 6mm if you need extra security in situations with uneven sheetrock, popcorn ceilings, etc.

Seamless installation, your way!

Triad PDX offers an exceptional solution for a seamless installation. Each speaker can be installed at once without tools, or you can remove the speaker and install the bracket with the optional back box and grille, allowing you to bring the speaker back and place after assembly. All of this is done without sacrificing the industry-leading sound and build quality that Triad is known for.

Optional backplane enclosures

All Triad PDX loudspeakers feature an optional rear enclosure that reduces sound propagation into adjacent rooms while providing a predictable installation environment to provide your customers with an optimal, customized sound experience.

Classic triad tuning

The Triad PDX speakers use premium crossover components and are tuned like all other Triad speakers to give them that coveted Triad sound. Thanks to their timbre adjustment, they can even be seamlessly combined with other Triad loudspeakers. This allows you to mix and match the speakers in the series depending on the needs of each room while achieving identical sound quality throughout the home.

Woven Kevlar/Carbon Fiber woofer

Experience every audible detail with precision technology and build quality. The woven Kevlar and carbon fibers with PVA coating allow better control of the cone resolution, while the aluminum shorting ring further refines the sound with tighter bass and improved distortion reduction. The Triad PDX's fusion of premium materials and design excellence is unprecedented in audio architecture.

Improved 1″ tweeter with pivoting Teteron dome

The Triad PDX is all about the purest sound quality possible. The 1-inch Teteron pivoting dome tweeter with oversized surround increases piston area, resulting in greater sensitivity and less movement, allowing for a smoother frequency response. All PDX 5 Series tweeters feature an additional copper cap and two neodymium magnets in the motor system that linearize/stabilize the inductance fluctuations, thereby reducing distortion through better transient/transient response.

Tweeter and woofer adjustment switch

With the tweeter adjustment switch, you can achieve detailed and clear sound in any room. It helps compensate for an overly reflective or over-damped room by either reducing or increasing the treble level to improve performance, while the bass adjustment fine-tunes the speaker's low frequencies depending on the interaction between the speaker and the speaker allows the room.

New brackets for new builds

Our new construction consoles offer more flexibility when installing in new buildings. They attach in front of the drywall, allowing the drywaller to cut out holes for them and streamline the installation process.

Optional custom colored covers

Order your speaker with a standard white triad speaker grille, or order a custom colored grille to match the room decor or wall/ceiling color for a small additional cost.

Safe on site

Not all construction sites are secure during construction, leaving components left in place vulnerable to theft. The two-piece Triad PDX baffle/speaker module assembly allows you to remove the speaker module for off-site safe storage until the site is secured while leaving the frame/HVAC cover and grille installed.
