Russound MBX-PRE Wi-Fi Streaming Audio Player

The MBX-PRE Streaming Audio Player was developed to provide an easy to install and configure streaming media solution to add high quality streaming audio content to any audio system. The MBX-PRE can be used as a single stereo audio streaming source for a single room, or stream a single audio stream to a larger system via its easy-to-use analog line-level/digital (coaxial/optical) outputs deliver throughout the house.

The MBX-PRE allows expansion of up to 32 audio streaming rooms in a single installation with any combination of other Russound MBX Series streaming products. In connection with a Russound multi-room controller, a system expansion to up to 8 independent audio sources and up to 48 rooms is possible.

The MBX-PRE not only enables the streaming of audio signals from common Internet sources, but also the streaming of local UPnP™-compatible audio signals.
In addition, the user can connect an external flash drive or an externally powered USB hard drive as an additional music source via an integrated USB port.
