At just 65mm deep, the Audio Radius 225 monitor is the perfect complement to today's ultra-thin displays. Use it as a center channel or main speaker: its acoustic design of dual 4″ C-CAM woofers/midrange drivers mounted astride a 1″ C-CAM tweeter delivers excellent horizontal and vertical position accuracy.
The entire Monitor Audio Radius range has been designed to blend harmoniously and unobtrusively into your living space. The Radius 225 is no exception - quite the opposite in fact. This speaker can probably be hung vertically on the wall as a front or surround speaker, or placed on a piece of furniture, and used horizontally as a center speaker. The wall bracket required for this is of course included with the speaker, all you have to do is attach it and then enjoy it.

- 4″ C-CAM Woofers – All new Radius woofers feature concave cone profiles introduced with our flagship Platinum speakers and then applied to the Gold GX. Extensive research and FEA modeling has allowed us to perfect the relationship between the new radiating diaphragm and motor design, introducing larger motors and voice coils for increased excursion, higher efficiency and reduced distortion.
- C-CAM Gold tweeters - optimized to deliver the finest and widest performance in the compact Radius enclosures. It benefits from a more efficient rear ventilation design that releases the air trapped and compressed at the rear of the tweeter dome and directs it around the drive unit to the rear loading chamber.
- HiVe II port design – Directly from the Platinum design concept, this is where the HiVe reflex port makes its debut at Radius. It is shaped to have the same effect on airflow as a gun barrel does on a bullet. Corrugation within the port helps accelerate flow and reduce turbulence, allowing air to flow in and out of the port more efficiently, resulting in faster, more dynamic bass response.
- Single-bolt driver attachment provides mechanical decoupling and improved midrange clarity and resolution. The thru-bolt also acts as a rigid cross brace to provide a very solid, non-resonant enclosure.
