The HKW Screens SoftFresnel STAR is a high-quality laser TV frame screen with a slimline frame, which makes it look elegant and minimalist and fits into any living room. The special thing about the multi-layer SoftFresnel screen is the special cloth. Its ability to reject ambient light is excellent. During development it was particularly important to us to find a balance between brightness and contrast. Many soft Fresnel screens are designed as daylight screens specifically for use during the day. With this screen you get the best of both worlds. A very good black level in the evening and 20% more brightness than a standard white screen. In comparison to a CLR screen, many times over. The HKW Screens SoftFresnel STAR is manufactured to the highest quality standards. Each canvas is inspected, photographed and documented before packaging to ensure it is a defect-free and high-quality product. Switching to a new canvas took me some thought and effort. We weren't entirely happy with our solution because we watch a lot during the day and the screen stole a lot of light. With this screen, things took a positive turn pretty quickly and I'm glad I went the route of the new screen. The instructions are written in German, very understandable and yet compact. The setup took us a total of almost 2 hours, but everything worked well. Not only the price but also the quality is convincing.

I had a bit of difficulty aligning the laser TV with the screen because unfortunately all the information was missing on the laser TV. Not too much was promised. After switching from a NoName CLR to this SoftFresnel, films are much easier to watch in daylight. Only the narrower viewing angle is noticeable, but acceptable.
