Audio Control Bijou 600

The new Bijou 600 from AudioControl is the first of its kind. It takes AudioControl's renowned know-how in the development of high-performance amplifiers and combines this with improved preamp controls and bass management functions in a compact, rack-mountable 1U -Housing that can be used in all zones of the house.

The launch of the Bijou 600 fills a gap in the market for a powerful, compact amplifier/DAC with preamp volume control that can be deployed as a flexible solution in additional zones to extend TV speaker systems including soundbars, the audio performance of multi-room streaming digital audio systems like SONOS, HEOS and others, power speaker systems of all types and configurations including low impedance speakers, upgrade games and improve other demanding audio systems.

The Bijou 600 has a host of powerful features including switchable inputs (including analog, digital COAX, digital optical) combined with a variable volume control that can be controlled via discrete IR or RS232 commands. The Bijou 600 delivers 2 x 100 watts of power into 8 ohms, 200 watts into 4 ohms and can also be operated as a 400 watt monoblock and works stably up to 3,6 ohms.

The Bijou benefits from a leading AudioControl high-performance DAC from Wolfson. The Bijou 600 is also equipped with a range of bass management features, including a subwoofer mono output, AudioControl's patented AccuBASS™ equalization, and selectable high- and low-pass crossovers. Source selection, volume functions and AccuBASS™ can be controlled via a remote control (included) or via automation commands.

The slim '1U' body of the Bijou measures just 8,5″x7,5″x1,7″. Complete rack and TV mounts for the Bijou are also available from us as AudioControl dealers.

The Bijou 600 was designed and manufactured in the rainforest of the Northwest, north of Seattle. The Bijou comes with AudioControl's renowned 5-year warranty.
