Just a few days ago we tested the AWOL Vision LTV-2500, the manufacturer's “smallest” model, and were thrilled with the price and performance: But more on that in this test. The American manufacturer has already announced another model that is now positioned below the flagship, i.e. exactly between the LTV-2500 and the LTV-3500 Pro. The newly introduced Laser TV model: LTV-3000 Pro thus closes a gap. AWOL Vision also uses the same design and look for the latest model. The difference between the three models lies primarily in the light output and therefore in the possible performance class.

Like the LTV-3500 Pro, the LTV-3000 Pro can now handle dynamic metadata à la Dolby Vision and HDR10+. However, the former will only be available with an upcoming firmware update. This leaves only the smallest model, the LTV-2500, without Dolby Vision support. In terms of price, the AWOL Vision LTV-3000 Pro is very interestingly positioned at €3499. It is priced at the same level as the Formovie Theater with a similar light output. However, it offers the better overall package with the well-known Ricoh F2.0 pure glass lens, Fire TV Stick integration and 3D. When it comes to contrast, the new AWOL Vision LTV-3000 Pro also has to admit defeat, even if it comes surprisingly close to the still current market reference.

At the IFA in Berlin we were able to take a first look at the new model from AWOL Vision and also had time to spend a little time with it. After we were convinced by the LTV-2500 and the flagship (test & video to follow), it wasn't difficult for us to add the medium model to the range. The definitive reference for AWOL remains the extremely fast Turbo mode. This reduces the input lag to an awesome 8ms at 1080p@120Hz and 15ms at 4K@60Hz. All AWOL Vision Laser TV models are equipped with extensive full color management. This allows the Laser TV to be perfectly adjusted. Unfortunately, this is often still a rarity with laser TVs on the market. Of course, we will continue to deliver the LTV-3000 Pro with our popular Ultimate Edition in the future: Perfect setting values ​​for a perfect home cinema experience without much effort.
