We took the opportunity to thoroughly analyze the market and examine various models and materials from numerous manufacturers. In the end, the European manufacturer InVideo was particularly able to convince us. This is characterized not only by brand new ALR (Ambient Light Rejecting) fabrics, but also by a wide and flexible range. With great ambition, we comprehensively compared and evaluated different canvases, fabrics and systems. The result is the Obsidian Vision cloth series - a collection that not only closes an existing gap, but also raises our offering to a previously unattainable level.

• Obsidian Vision Cinema: Latest generation Ambient Light Rejection surface, further developed to improve color uniformity and depth of the projected image. It is the best surface for applications where there is ambient light but most viewing is done in darker environments. This screen is ideal for film and series lovers who want to enjoy the best possible image quality with excellent contrast and depth of field, especially in the evening in their living room or a dedicated home cinema.
• Obsidian Vision BrightTV: The advanced surface with ambient light rejection (ARL) optimizes color uniformity and image depth when projecting under the influence of light, making it ideal for applications in illuminated environments. Offers an image result that is 30% brighter than the Cinema series, but this also leads to a slightly worse possible black level. If you rarely see anything completely dark anyway, for example because a room light is switched on, this screen is the best choice for you!
• Obsidian Acoustics: The advanced ambient light rejection (ALR) surface finish improves color uniformity and image depth when projected in illuminated environments, making it ideal for such applications. The acoustically transparent variant of our best ALR surface ensures excellent color uniformity and profound image quality. The 0,5mm diameter micro-perforations support acoustic transparency without compromising image quality.

The times when a classic white cloth was preferred are over, because contrast cloths always guarantee a significant increase in contrast, which benefits the image quality. The advanced perfection of these cloths has led to previous disadvantages being completely or at least partially eliminated, depending on the model. The result is image reproduction with more intense colors, improved black levels and increased detail, which greatly enhances the experience of large-screen enjoyment.
