Best laser TVs under 2500 euros

Which three Laser TVs under 2500 euros are currently the most sought-after and popular models and why? We want to pursue this question today. So-called laser TVs, i.e. ultra-short-throw laser-based projectors, are currently in great demand and everyone is talking about them. No wonder, since you get a picture of up to 150 inches for relatively little money compared to a television. The picture quality in particular has continued to increase in recent years and has reached a level that no longer has to hide behind a conventional television. In the still young year of 2024, three models have emerged that really dominate the entry-level/mid-range segment. We're talking about here ChiQ B8U, Hisense PX2-Pro and the Hisense PL1. All three Laser TV models have their place and are suitable for a wide variety of applications. We now want to clarify which of the three laser TVs is right for you.

Let's start with what all three Laser TVs have in common and that is the DMP chip used. The chip has a native resolution of 1920x1080p and shifts the image to 3840×2160 pixels using the well-known XPR technology. Accordingly, each of the three different projectors can easily display 4K and HDR. But the similarities don't stop there. At least two of the three Laser TV models (ChiQ B8U and Hisense PL1) use a single laser unit in combination with an RGBRGB - 6-segment wheel. Only the Hisense PX2-Pro offers a TriChroma laser light source in this price range. TriChroma refers to the three primary colors red, green and blue. The technology uses these three colors to create a wider color space that covers more than 100% of the BT.2020 color space. This means the colors are more vibrant, richer and more accurate than single laser TVs.

For whom is which laser TV best suited?

Hisense PX2 Pro

The Hisense PX2-Pro is the brightest laser TV in the test field and is particularly suitable as an all-rounder. In contrast to the other models, it not only scores with higher brightness, but also with a significantly larger color space. This means that the image appears to us to be significantly brighter and of higher quality than the two competitors, but it also obviously costs the most. The VIDAAU U6 operating system is probably already familiar to one or two owners of a Hisense television. Regardless of whether you want the room to be a little brighter or you want to watch a film in the evening, the Hisense impresses in every respect. The Laser TV doesn't stop at gaming either. With a low input lag you can play on a gigantic image without any problems. Also with that Laser TV Crown 2023 We crowned it in second place, the most interesting and best laser TV model in 2 and a highlight for us and definitely the best device under €2023. You can find more information about the Hisense PX2500-Pro at our website Video presentationg or our detailed test.

Hisense PL1

The single laser TV from Hisense, the PL1, fits in here as a real all-in-one laser TV model. We have a fully-fledged smart operating system with apps such as Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+ on board, but also an additional TV tuner. When it comes to design, Hisense also sets different accents with the PL1 than with the very rudimentary and not quite as stylish PX2-Pro (a matter of taste). But you don't get a triple laser unit like with the PX2-Pro - but "only" a single laser. In addition, the Hisense PL1 is the best-equipped laser TV of the three models mentioned, but at the same time it is also the weakest link in the chain. With a price of under €2000 (now), the Hisense PL1 is certainly an alternative and one of the most interesting devices in this price range. The ChiQ B3U took third place in our Laser TV Highlights 2023 and is now cleverly positioning itself between the Hisense PX8-Pro and the Hisense PL2 as a real alternative, which at least requires a very small distance from the wall and is at least comparable to the PX1-Pro in terms of brightness can almost keep up. When it comes to the color space, the Hisense PX2-Pro pulls ahead unhindered ;)

ChiQ B8U

There's another secret candidate in the form of the ChiQ B8U. Also modernly equipped with HDMI 2.1 and Android TV 11, it is particularly impressive with its short distance to the screen and the image quality including sharpness. None of the laser TV models mentioned can hold a candle to the ChiQ B8U. And what about contrast? The ChiQ B8U can score points in this price range, as well as with its brightness and Dolby Vision performance. However, you have to do without the TV tuner that is included with the Hisense PL1 and also the option to stream Netflix via the Android TV operating system. You can find more information about the ChiQ B8U here video presentation or our detailed test.

Best laser TVs under 2500 euros: Hisense PL1

You realize that you have to concentrate on what is most important to you. The color space, the brightness, the distance, the design, the operating system or the price? All of these are points in which the three projectors mentioned differ slightly or even completely. Regardless of which model you choose, these three models are not only the most popular at the moment, but also the best under 2.500 euros.

  • Hisense PL1: The all-in-one laser TV with VIDAA U6 & TV tuner, ideal for highest contrast.
  • ChiQ B8U: Ideally suited for close distances to the wall and best image sharpness.
  • Hisense PX2 Pro: The TriChroma Laser TV with VIDAA U6 for an extremely large color space.
