With the X2, ViewSonic is expanding its range of smart LED projectors with a new short-throw model. Specially manufactured Harman Kardon speakers, precise FHD resolution and 125% coverage of the Rec.709 color space make the X2 with a throw ratio of 0,69 – 0,83 an ideal multimedia solution.

The ViewSonic X2 is available now for EUR 1359 (RRP including VAT).

Higher brightness with lower power consumption, more features in a smaller housing and at the same time smart additional functions on board - this is the premise under which ViewSonic has advanced its development of audiovisual solutions in recent years. The brand is now one of the leading suppliers of LED projectors. After the company recently presented a new model in this category with the X1, today the X2 is a short-throw LED projector.

The X2 from ViewSonic combines high brightness (3.100 LED lumens/2.300 ANSI lumens) with energy-saving second-generation LED technology (RGBG) and smart additional features. Due to the modern illuminant, the projector requires little maintenance and promises a service life of up to 30.000 hours. The LED technology achieves a contrast of 3.000.000:1 and displays 1,07 billion colors true to nature.

Thanks to the "Instant on/off" function, the X2 is ready for use in a moment and can also be switched off without a lengthy cooling phase. The "Cinema SuperColor+" technology with 120% coverage of the Rec.125 color space, Full HD resolution, a 709x optical zoom and a projection ratio of 1,2 ensure lifelike images in large format up to 0,69 inches - 0,83. This means that the X2 produces a 1,53-inch image from a distance of just 100 meters from the projection surface. The maximum recommended image size is 120 inches.

Not only thanks to its impressive brightness of 3.100 LED lumens, the X2 is suitable for almost any environment. In addition to the 1,2x optical zoom and the H&V keystone function (40 degrees) as well as the automatic 4-corner adjustment, the numerous connection options also ensure flexible and quick setup in different environments. The smart LED projector offers 2 x HDMI (2.0), USB type C, USB type A, RS232 and 3,5 mm audio out in addition to the custom-made 6 W stereo speakers from Harman Kardon. These deliver a powerful, room-filling sound for captivating cinema evenings on the sofa at home.

But that's not all: the X2 also has a wide range of wireless options. Bluetooth (4.2) is available for audio in and audio out and WiFi (5Gn) is also available for video. The wireless standards are ideal for streaming audio and video, for example from smartphones or other devices.
