Attention entertainment fans: On August 4th, we will be there  Sky Showcase a new entertainment channel that will in future serve as a window into Sky's diverse world of entertainment. No other content destination on the Sky platform has such a wide range of programming as Sky Showcase, and the new channel, placed in the prominent slot 100, brings together the top entertainment highlights of the various channel brands. Viewers can enjoy popular series highlights, high-quality documentaries and the latest sports news from Sky Sport News during the day. The best Sky Originals and other top highlights follow in prime time. The program also includes selected film highlights from Sky Cinema and Sky Originals Movies. Selected program highlights from the partner stations are integrated for young entertainment fans. Sky Showcase is included in the entertainment package on Sky Q as well as available on the flexible streaming service WOW.

Right at the start, Sky shows at  Sky Showcase first-class series highlights such as Gentleman Jack, Ghosts or The Staircase. In the course of the month, "House of the Dragon" will finally follow, the series that many Game of Thrones fans are eagerly awaiting. Documentaries also play a major role in Sky Showcase: "Patagonia" and the documentary series "Animals Behind the Camera" will be broadcast at the start. "Smiley Face Killers" will be released for true crime lovers on August 6th.

In addition to Sky Showcase, a number of new sports channels are already starting this week on July 14th. Customers benefit from an improved program structure and more guidance when searching for their next sports highlight. With Sky Sport Top Event you get a highlight channel with the best content from Sky Sport. In addition, fans of certain sports will have a new TV home with the dedicated 24-hour channels Sky Sport Premier League, Sky Sport Mix, Sky Sport Tennis and Sky Sport Golf. In addition to Sky Sport Bundesliga, Sky Sport F1 and Sky Sport News, Sky Deutschland now has eight 24-hour sports channels on offer.
