SOUND HUB COMPACT

The SOUND HUB COMPACT plays a central role in the active wireless DALI HiFi systems. It transmits the digital data from all stereo audio sources connected to its inputs to the OBERON C, CALLISTO C and RUBICON C loudspeakers via a high-resolution radio link.

In an active wireless stereo hi-fi system consisting of two OBERON C, CALLISTO C or RUBICON C speakers, the SOUND HUB COMPACT takes on the role of conductor. It is primarily designed for Bluetooth audio and HDMI connections to TVs. It accepts audio signals wired or via Bluetooth and transmits them wirelessly to the speakers. As the name suggests, the SOUNDHUB COMPACT is a particularly delicate streaming hub - it can even be hidden behind a wall-mounted TV.

The audio system even turns on automatically when a previously paired Bluetooth device is connected and playback is started. The same applies when a TV set connected to the HDMI input comes into action. DALI's SOUNDHUB COMPACT does not require any complex control or app - input switching is automatic and volume control is intuitive.

Note: The SOUND-HUB COMPACT is only capable of playing back stereo signals fed through its inputs.

If you want to stream music or radio programs from the Internet, operate a wireless home cinema system or integrate the OBERON C loudspeakers into a multi-room system, you need the DALI SOUND HUB including the BluOS module (for streaming and multi-room) or HDMI module (for multi-channel playback) .

On and off automatic

If the TV set is connected to the SOUNDHUB COMPACT via the HDMI ARC input, the audio system is switched on and off synchronously with the television. You can also use the TV remote control to adjust the volume and (de-)activate mute.

Extensive connection options

With five analogue and digital audio inputs, the SOUND HUB COMPACT is prepared for the connection of almost all audio devices. This also includes multiple options for wireless music streaming.

Stable wireless connection

The wireless connection between SOUNDHUB COMPACT and OBERON C is extremely stable and takes place with practically no data loss. It's so reliable that the Sound Hub and speakers can be up to 10 meters apart without fear of connection errors or momentary signal interruptions.

Bluetooth

The Bluetooth module of the SOUND HUB COMPACT supports the high-resolution codecs AAC and aptX HD and enables a wireless connection to smartphones, tablets, laptops or desktop computers in order to play back music stored there or music streamed from the Internet. Even Bluetooth-enabled TV sets can be connected.
