The Director D2800 8 channel amplifier with DSP has a digital (COAX/TOSLINK) BUS input with DAC (32-96Khz, 16/24Bit), an analog BUS input and local analog inputs. The integrated web interface allows configuration and access to 8 parametric equalizers per channel. DSP presets for stealth speakers are available. Third-party providers control the most important functions via IP commands. Alternatively, the automatic signal detection, the master trigger or the zone trigger switches on the power amplifier.

AudioControl Director Model D2800 - 8-channel high-performance network DSP amplifier
The 8 channel DSP amplifier D2800 offers both system amplification and programmable signal processing over IP. Configure graphic and parametric EQ, crossovers, volume control, zone grouping, network monitoring and more using the onboard DSP. The D-Series now features built-in speaker profiles from members of AudioControl's Sound PartnersTM program and offers DSP-optimized speaker calibrations from a growing list of well-known speaker manufacturers. The Director Model D2800 can be operated either as a standalone DSP amplifier or as part of a third party control system.

The Director® D-Series features onboard digital signal processing, zoned graphic and parametric equalization, network monitoring and programming, local and bus inputs, as well as volume control, channel/zone grouping, and zone audio presets. They also allow individual channel and zone selection via standard TCP/IP and offer incredible performance and legendary AudioControl audio performance.
Profiles for speaker optimization
AudioControl has partnered with a growing number of well-known architectural loudspeaker manufacturers to implement loudspeaker performance profiles that can be recalled directly from the Director® D-Series' onboard DSP. Each loudspeaker manufacturer has provided AudioControl with key performance data so that bespoke profiles can be created and stored in the software. Taking into account the individual room acoustics of each home, these speaker profiles represent an important step in providing the customer with a premium entertainment experience by calibrating the systems for their customers.
