The Pure Audio Blu-ray is an advanced audio disc that leverages the high data rates and large storage capacity of a Blu-ray Disc (up to 50GB) to provide a high-quality audio experience similar to the ease of use of a CD. It is fully compatible with standard Blu-ray specifications so it can be played on any standard Blu-ray player.

A standout feature of the Pure Audio Blu-ray is that it doesn't require a TV screen to play or navigate; it can only be controlled via the remote control. This is made possible by a unique function in which the different audio formats are assigned to the color buttons on the remote control, allowing you to switch directly between stereo and multi-channel sound.

In terms of audio quality, the Pure Audio Blu-ray offers a sampling rate of up to 192 kHz and a sampling depth of 24 bits, allowing for exceptional sound quality. The high capacity of the Blu-ray Disc allows various audio formats, including stereo, surround sound and even 3D audio formats such as Dolby Atmos and Auro-3D, to be stored on a single disc. Some Pure Audio Blu-ray Discs contain additional video content. In these cases, a navigation screen is necessary.
