The Japanese audio specialist Yamaha presents a new compact soundbar with the Yamaha Soundbar SR-C30A. With a width of 60 cm and a height of 6,4 cm, it is primarily intended for rooms with little space. The soundbar is equipped with a 2×20 watt system and a matching 50 watt wireless subwoofer. The SR-C30A features 4,6cm full-range drivers and the subwoofer has a 13cm driver. The SR-C30A soundbar dispenses with extras such as Dolby Atmos and virtual surround sound and instead focuses on the sound. Tonal Balance ensures optimal synchronization between the subwoofer and the main speaker system, in line with the company's True Sound philosophy. The soundbar is also able to direct the sound so that it appears to come from the center of the TV above the speaker, increasing the realism of the dialogue.

Clear Voice technology provides additional clarity, while Bass Extension provides stronger bass reproduction. And finally, Adaptive Low Volume ensures full sound even at the lowest power levels. Four DSP modes (Standard, Stereo, Game and 3D Movie) are also available. The decoders are suitable for the formats Dolby Digital and Dolby ProLogic II.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth, HDMI ARC output, an analogue input and two Toslink inputs. In addition, the Yamaha SR-C30A can also be controlled via a smartphone via the Yamaha Soundbar Controller App, as an alternative to the remote control and the touch buttons on the top of the device.
