With this update, the static metadata is completely abandoned in favor of the tone mapping management, which is now based exclusively on real-time calculations of the analysis engine working frame by frame. The tone mapping algorithms have been improved largely thanks to the numerous feedbacks from fans who have been more or less “pushing” the programmers to do so for some time through a long discussion on the avsforum.com forum.
