House Of The Dragon Season 2

House Of The Dragon Season 2 airs parallel to the US broadcast

The second season of “House Of The Dragon” premieres on the night of June 16th to 17th on Sky and on the streaming service WOW. The eight new episodes will be available on demand with one episode each week, either in the original or in German and with English or German subtitles.

About “House Of The Dragon”:

Based on George RR Martin's book "Fire & Blood", the series takes place approximately 200 years before "Game of Thrones" and tells the story of House Targaryen.

Westeros is on the brink of a bloody civil war, with the Green and Black Councils fighting over King Aegon and Queen Rhaenyra, respectively. With each side believing they have the rightful claim to the Iron Throne, the trailers for "Green" and "Black" reflect these two perspectives in separate but complementary halves of the same story. For global audiences, “everyone must choose a side of House Targaryen” as the empire will collapse in season two.

The returning cast includes: Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D'Arcy, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno and Rhys Ifans as well as Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban , Jefferson Hall and Matthew Needham.

Joining the cast are: Abubakar Salim as Alyn of Hull, Gayle Rankin as Alys Rivers, Freddie Fox as Ser Gwayne Hightower, Simon Russell Beale as Ser Simon Strong, Clinton Liberty as Addam of Hull, Jamie Kenna as Ser Alfred Broome, Kieran Bew as Hugh , Tom Bennett as Ulf, Tom Taylor as Lord Cregan Stark and Vincent Regan as Ser Rickard Thorne.

George RR Martin serves as co-creator/executive producer. Co-Creator/Showrunner/Executive Producer is Ryan Condal, Executive Producers: Sara Hess, Alan Taylor, Melissa Bernstein, Kevin de la Noy, Loni Peristere, Vince Gerardis. Based on George RR Martin's book “Fire & Blood”.
