Unveiling of the JBL SPINNER BT turntable

HARMAN Luxury Audio Group announced today that it will be showcasing its new JBL SPINNER BT turntable at HARMAN Explore, being held January 4-7 at the Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas. The Bluetooth-enabled turntable offers a dynamic design and allows listeners to enjoy their records wirelessly without sacrificing audio quality.

The SPINNER BT easily connects to portable speakers, soundbars and headphones via Bluetooth for wireless vinyl playback, while aptX™ HD encoding ensures that the authentic sound of the vinyl is not compromised. For a wired connection, the turntable features an analogue output with switchable moving magnet phono stage, perfect for use with traditional component audio systems or active speaker systems. The elegant design with aluminum platter and tonearm, black MDF base with orange JBL accents, a modern front panel and a hinged dust cover adds a classy touch to any environment.

The SPINNER BT plays records in perfect time at 33 1/3 rpm for LPs and 45 rpm for EPs and singles. The speeds of the SPINNER BT are locked with a speed sensor to guarantee perfect pitch of the belt-driven aluminum platter. The tonearm is fitted with a high quality Audio Technica moving magnet cartridge pre-installed on a detachable head shell for easy replacement and upgrades. The turntable feet are cushioned to reduce vibration penetration into the platters.

"The JBL SPINNER BT is a testament to the joy of music and vinyl, and we couldn't be happier to introduce it at HARMAN Explore," said Jim Garrett, Senior Director, Product Strategy and Planning, HARMAN Luxury Audio. “Using Bluetooth 5.2 technology, the turntable offers listeners an instant wireless connection to their record collections - allowing them to enjoy their albums any way they choose without losing the signature sound of vinyl - while its sleek design adds a bold touch to any system makes a statement. And with its analogue output and integrated phono preamp, the SPINNER BT is also suitable for purists who prefer a wired connection.”

The JBL SPINNER BT will be available in Q2023 399 with a suggested retail price of $XNUMX. The availability and price for the European market has not yet been confirmed at the time of publication of this report.
