DIRAC LIVE® ROOM CORRECTION
State-of-the-art digital room correction technology improves overall audio performance across the entire frequency band without the need for an additional upgrade. Dirac Live automatically calibrates the sound in your room using either your smartphone and the included wired microphone, or virtually wirelessly using the Dirac Live PC or macOS* application and a third-party USB microphone (not included). Dirac Live unleashes the full potential of your speakers in any listening room, delivering a unique, pristine listening experience. Now you get a more accurate measurement of your surround sound system positions to be more accurate, balanced and achieve a better result with the increased delay time cap from 20 milliseconds to 50 milliseconds.

In 1993, Onkyo became the first home theater electronics brand to become THX certified. Discrete HDMI switching for Zone 2

Works with Sonos certification
This Onkyo receiver can fit into your existing Sonos home sound system or be the start of a new system by simply pairing it with a Sonos port*. This Works With Sonos certified AVR offers premium integration into the Sonos ecosystem by waking up, switching inputs, and playing at your desired volume using the Sonos volume pass-through feature in the Sonos app*. The TX-RZ50 can operate with up to three Sonos ports - one for each of three independent zones - each playing a completely different Sonos Radio streaming service.

Klipsch Optimize Mode allows you to seamlessly integrate your Klipsch Reference and Reference Premiere speakers with your Onkyo AV Receiver. Klipsch and Onkyo have teamed up to implement the exact crossover values for the new Reference Premiere loudspeakers. Now you can simply select the speaker model you are using for each individual channel and the optimized crossover setting will be applied automatically.

The Dirac measurement helped me, also so that I could think about my room again afterwards. In short, the RZ-50 has a very powerful, aggressive sound. This can almost blow your mind, and you will definitely have to do some fine-tuning on different speakers. If you invest this time, you will get an incomparably powerful and dynamic sound.
