James VXQ68 in-wall speaker

The James VXQ68 in-wall loudspeaker from the Visual Experience series by James Loudspeaker (a Sonance brand) represents the highest sound quality and sophisticated design. Featuring innovative technologies such as the Quadratech tweeter and Cymatic diffuser, it delivers exceptionally wide dispersion and precise sound reproduction, even in challenging environments.

The VXQ68 features four 19 mm titanium tweeters, optimized using machine learning to ensure smooth and balanced tonality. The Cymatic diffuser corrects the high-frequency directivity, filling rooms with smooth and extended highs that are remarkably consistent throughout every corner of the room. A 165 mm aluminum woofer with a Santoprene surround ensures precise bass reproduction. The frequency response extends from 40 Hz to 20 kHz with an efficiency of 90 dB (2,83 V/1 m) and a power handling of up to 150 watts RMS.

The Flex Frame mounting system enables easy and safe installation. The VXQ68 can be installed in both walls and ceilings and is particularly versatile thanks to its shallow installation depth of 85 mm. The magnetically attached cover in signal white (RAL 9003) can be painted, and trimless grilles are optionally available, allowing the speaker to be discreetly integrated into various room designs.

VISUAL EXPERIENCE | INSTALLATION SPEAKERS

The built-in speakers from the Visual Experience series are characterized by their easy installation, excellent sound and variety of designs. In addition to the different sizes, round, square and rectangular covers are available. The wide selection of optics makes it possible to coordinate the shape of the installed lights and that of the VX built-in speakers. Different performance levels ensure the best possible music reproduction throughout the house, which meets even the highest quality standards. All VXQ models are suitable for damp rooms.

FLEX FRAME MOUNTING SYSTEM

The Flex Frame mounting system consists of an installation frame and a speaker module for greater flexibility during the installation process. Either choose the well-known method, similar to the VP series, or split the installation into two steps for easier handling. The VX and VXQ models with performance levels 0 and 8 are installed in one step.

OPTICS

The Visual Experience series offers an unprecedented variety of designs. With the wide selection of grid sizes, grid types and form factors, every design wish is fulfilled. Matching the speaker design to the ceiling mirror or the look of the room is easier than ever before.

The standard VX grille is supplied in signal white (RAL9003) and is particularly durable thanks to the UV stabilizer. The popular plastic edge of the VP series has been retained and reduced to a width of 3mm. Its good properties such as no shadow formation and a seamless transition to the loudspeaker are retained. Grilles without plastic edges (trimless grilles) are available separately and provide many more design options in projects. Trimless grilles are also supplied in signal white (RAL9003) with UV stabilizer.

Preparations for a flush installation are in their final stages. Mounting plates will enable perfect flush installation, already known and highly valued from the VP series, the installation aids will be available for all models.

CUSTOM

Sonance offers a variety of individual speaker cover solutions that can be designed according to customer requirements. These grilles can be painted in any color or decorated with a specific motif or texture using laser printing. Thanks to these customization options, the speakers from the Visual Experience series can be seamlessly integrated into any living space without appearing intrusive.
