Stax 2G Rack 3 – Rack with 3 levels (2x Stax 2G 170 + 1x Stax 2G Base)

Where it all begins – With the Blok Stax 2G Base

The name says it all, because the Stax 2G Base is the basic building block for every HiFi rack in the Stax 2G series and is therefore indispensable.

Only the base has the holes in the side panels to screw in the height-adjustable feet, the tools needed to assemble the rack or the individual modules. The box with the base also contains the magnetically held aluminum end caps, which give the rack the finishing touch after assembly.

You see: Without the base nothing works.

Add and expand flexibly – without any annoying screwing!

This is made possible by the clever silicone insulation pads with their precisely fitting cutouts, which fit perfectly on the screw heads of the modules underneath them and thus create a clean, non-slip and wobble-free connection. All without the hassle and tedious screwing of the floors among themselves.

And the isolation pads are not called what they are called for nothing. After all, they also absorb vibrations and resonances that could otherwise affect the high-quality hi-fi components in the rack.

Three beautiful surfaces – timelessly elegant and always modern

Each of the modules is available in three different versions. You can choose from:

– Floor made of multiplex ash natural with side panels in white satin matt

– Floor made of multiplex ash black with side panels in natural walnut

Black glass base with high gloss black side panels

Each floor and each module can bear a weight of 40 kilograms, regardless of the size and material you choose.

Really good sound – especially when the sides are filled with sand

As you can see, this HiFi rack is completely well thought out from top to bottom. And so we have come to the conclusion that vibrations and resonances are the biggest enemies of good sound when it comes to a high-quality HiFi rack.

And so Blok seized the opportunity and not only degraded the side panels to mere support modules, but also made clever use of their interior space: by filling them with acoustically absorbing material such as sand to make them even stronger and more stable. Clever, right?

A real eye-catcher – or actually not: The cable duct

A good sound in a HiFi rack always includes a decent cable duct. There are racks where all the cables have to be stuffed into this cable duct in order to not attract too much attention. This is not always good for the cables themselves, but the connections and terminals of the electronics can also suffer under the pressure.

And that's why the Blok Stax 2G racks do not use a cable duct, but rather generously milled cable guides on the back of each module, which allow all cables to be routed downwards without kinks over sharp edges.

And this not only protects cables and connections, but also makes it possible to push the HiFi rack flush against the wall and visually hide the cables completely from view.

The right feet for every floor – with intelligent height adjustment included!

For a perfect stand, you not only need the right feet; the Stax 2G series has specially designed spikes for carpets and rubber feet for hard floors such as laminate or parquet, but these also have to be adjustable in height.

However, since you usually only adjust the feet once the rack is loaded with all the equipment (and ideally the sides are filled with sand), adjusting the height by tilting the entire rack would be a risky undertaking.

At Blok, however, we don't want to put you or your beloved electronics at risk, so we've designed the right tool for this. A practical "disk" that can be pushed onto the feet when the rack is assembled and ready to be set up, allowing the height to be adjusted accordingly.

This means that with the screws and fastening tools specially designed for the series, nothing can go wrong and excellent music enjoyment is guaranteed.
